most of the pieces for the center module didnt fit right , some broke when removing them from the sheet , some curved when removed , the plans need just a little more detail. its like you need a engineer degree to build the kit. its not just punch out and put together... i wouldnt of bought the kit if I knew beforehand ... not happy with this kit
Just got around to putting this together and I’m missing a tray of the wooden pieces. Otherwise would of been really pretty
I hated this model carousel from the beginning and it didn't get any better. The pieces are Very fragile and three broke just from taking them off the sheet. I broke more pieces on this model than ever before. It is truly held together with superglue. It does work but not properly. The bottom of the carousel works fine but the horses are hit and miss. I did not enjoy building this model. Definitely not for a newbie.
This was fun but some pieces were tough to put in together. It says no glue is necessary but if were to do it again, I would use glue on at at least some of the pieces. By the time I finished the base was not attached as it should be and therefore the carousel does not spin and I haven’t been able to reassemble it
Can speak better to the grand piano music box. It was an all absorbing puzzle, well designed, with Pachelbel's Canon D as the music box selection. Having put this one together, I've ordered the carousel kit to assemble when winter rolls around.
